Communication & Partnership

We value the relationships that we establish and nurture with all of our parents. They are built on mutual trust and help us to provide the best, most appropriate education and outcomes for all of our pupils, continuing the process of enabling them to flourish in adult life.

Honest and open communication and collaboration between school and parents are key to ensuring the best outcomes for all children. The home to school diary is an important tool for everyone, as are this website and the parent newsletters. We encourage contact with staff, and participation in activities such as parent workshops. Staff have regular contact with parents, as well as involving them in the formal annual review process.

We recommend that you read about the SEN Code of Practice and West Hill’s response to the SEND14 questions.
