Pupils are elected to represent their class on the School Council each academic year. They have a voice in evaluating West Hill’s performance and contributing to the school’s further development.
School Council members wear gold ties in place of the regulation blue/yellow tie, so that they can be readily identified.
Members meet several times a year. Recent discussion has centred on how to assess what progress pupils are making and the question: “Is there bullying at West Hill?
”The Council’s ‘wish list’ is monitored and updated regularly.
