Learning to learn:

A special pathway enabling all our young people

to achieve as much as they possibly can and to flourish in adult life

What you notice about West Hill are that the SEN provision, strategies and expertise are evident from the moment you enter the building – for example with the use of symbols to support communication.

In September 2017 we will have Year R, Year 1, Year 3, and in the seniors Years 9-11. We have benefited from a significant building program which includes brand new Early Years provision and a new two storey building to house primary aged pupils. Seniors classrooms have benefited from refurbishment to include group rooms, state of the art technology and kitchen areas in each classroom to support life skills.

West Hill is recognised as a National Support School and National Teaching School.
